Pokhara City Biking
Day 1 Our biking start from Pokhara hotel. We bike up to Sarankot (very famous for viewing sunrise and stunning Himalayas early in the morning) which is about 15 km mostly up on paved and 10 km off-road towards Naudanda and hits again on paved road with less traffic mostly downhill via Hemja to the Hotel. Today we bike around 55 KM
Day2 After breakfast, we ride through the main town Mahendra Pul - bridge and turn right on off-road after crossing the British Gorkha's Camp which is mostly mixed trail with 2 or 3 short carry up and down about 10mins. In between Ghachok and Lhachok after crossing Bhurjung Khola and back again on Tarmac to the Hemja (Tibetan Refugee Camp) we will see stunning mountain views Annapurna South and Fishtail. Overnight at hotel
Day 3 After breakfast we start our trip. Today almost 10% off-road biking through Davis Fall and down to cross the river about 7km Jeep track up to Kristi danda. You can enjoy the spectacular mountain views of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Fishtail and Annapurna. We turn toward Nirmal Pokhari on fantastic off-road with single trail down to the Seti River and back to hotel. Total distance is 35 KM. Altitude gain: 260m
Day 4 After the breakfast we leave hotel for day trip. Our destination for today is World Peace Stupa situated on top of hill on south of Pokhara valley. It is 12 KM muddy track best for mountain biking which gives you stunning scenes of the pokhara valley. On reaching to the top you will see beautiful mountain massif on the north and beautiful Pokhara valley down with big Fewa Lake on your toe. The total distance will be 30 – 35 KM.
Day 5 This will be the last day for your trip once you visited to Begnas Lake. You bike 10 KM to the Pokhara - Kathmandu Highway and then turn left to Begnas Lake. After lunch steep climbing about 6km off-road up to Kalikasthan (15-20minute carry up in between) then 7 km wide Jeep track down to Bijayapur Khola and continue on biking on highway and back to the hotel. The total distance will be around 35-40KM.
