Responsible Travel

Nepal is there to change you, not for you to change it. Lose yourself in its essence. Make your footprints with care and awareness of the precarious balance around you. Take souvenirs in your mind and spirit, not in your pockets. Nepal is not only a place on the map, but an experience, a way of life from which we all can learn.

Environmental issue has been quite critical day by day all around the world. Especially the countries like Nepal where many Mountains and lakes are located has very fragile ecosystem. Due to global warming and climate change the glaciers are already melting in alarming rate and hundreds of snow lakes are in the position of outburst. As a responsible traveler, to stop climate change and reduce its impact we can contribute ourselves in many ways while we travel.

Manaslu Base Camp Trekking

Manaslu Base Camp derived its name from the Mt. Manaslu which is 26758 ft/8163 meters high – that stands 8th position in world highest mountain rank. This trekking is strenuous type and not recommendable to general trekkers because one has to walk through almost 5300 meters altitude which is called Larkhey La pass.

This trekking route only opened in 1991 and some adventure seekers has been choosing this place and did camping. Though there are still camping treks organized, since early 2009 this route has been suitable for tea house trekking as well. This has eased the trekking difficulties and few trekkers choosing this trek.

There are more unique wild life, vegetations and sceneries in this area that trekkers can enjoy. This trekking offers astounding landscape, great mountain view that you can see, touch and feel it, lots of monastries, very old typical villages and their life styles that depicts the Tibetian culture, awesome bamboo bridges, deep forests and so many things on the way that catch your eyes. This is the different world; only few people get chance to explore it.

To enter this trekking route special permit is required which is easily managed from Aarya Village Travel.
